Peak 7’s Ascent programs encourage participants to set and achieve incredible personal goals. Whether they are snowshoeing, backpacking along the coast, or hiking in the many mountain ranges of the Pacific Northwest, youth are given the opportunity to push beyond what they think is possible for themselves. By reaching the top of a mountain peak and persevering to reach their goals, youth learn grit, strength, and patience. On all our Ascent trips, youth are offered the opportunity to lead and to work together. As youth reach the summit and achieve their goals, personal change is evident in their growing joy and confidence.
