Spokane and Wenatchee Rivers

Spokane guides interact as role models, talk about the beauty of God’s creation while leading the group in facing their fears through class 3/4 rapids. Trips end with staff and participants hanging out at the wrap-up BBQ.

Application Deadline: 02/19/2016 or until positions are filled

Season: April 4th – July 3rd

Time Commitment: April – July: Minimum of 40 hours a week. Some flexibility in schedule available.

Raft Guide Requirements:

• Christian faith
• 18 year of age or older
•  CPR
• Successful completion of Peak 7 Adventure’s Raft Guide School (provided)
• A 1-season commitment minimum, 2 season commitment preferred
• Excellent physical condition

Desired Qualifications:

1. Previous Outdoor Leadership experience.
2. Knowledge and background in outdoor learning experiences.
3. Swiftwater or Whitewater Rescue Technician.

Deschutes and McKenzie Rivers

Oregon guides interact as role models, talk about the beauty of God’s creation while leading the group in facing their fears through class 3/4 rapids, and rock climbing. Trips last from one to six days cover 8-100 miles of river

Application Deadline: 04/08/16 or until positions are filled

Season: May 31st – August 31st

Time Commitment: Minimum of 40 hours a week. Can be gone for several days at a time.

Raft/Climbing Guide Requirements:

• Christian faith
• 18 year of age or older
• Wilderness First Responder
• CPR (must have current certification that is valid through end of season)
• Successful completion of Peak 7 Adventure’s Raft Guide School
• A 1-season commitment minimum, 2 season commitment preferred
• Excellent physical condition

Desired Qualifications:

2. Knowledge and background in outdoor learning experiences.
3. Swiftwater or Whitewater Rescue Technician
4. AMGA Single Pitch Instructor
